JoAnn Jeffries

JoAnn Helen Jeffries, of Corunna, MI passed away Friday, September 17, 2010 at Memorial Healthcare, Owosso after a short but hard fought battle with recently diagnosed cancer.
JoAnn was born in Lineville, Iowa, the daughter of Alexander P. and Helen E. (Lovett) Kelly, Jr. JoAnn resided most of her life in the Corunna area.
JoAnn and Roger have been happily married for 58 years. Her family was the most important part of JoAnn's life and she was inseparable from her husband, Roger. JoAnn and her husband wrote books and they enjoyed traveling the world together. She was a graduate of Michigan State University and was a member of the Vernon United Methodist Church.
JoAnn is survived by her husband, Roger Jeffries, of Corunna, MI; twin sons, Brian (Ellen) Jeffries, of Lansing, MI, & Bruce (Janice) Jeffries, of Mason, MI; 3 grandchildren, Suzanne (Travis) Erdmann, Bethany (Sam) Nichols & David (Erin) Jeffries; 4 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Stephen (Millie) Kelly, of South Haven, MI, & Karl (Patty) Kelly, of Montague, MI, sister, Karen (Casey) Tiggleman, of Chattanooga, TN, and sister-in-law, Mary Ann Kelly, of Florida. JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, twin sons, David and Daniel, and brother, Alexander P. Kelly, III.
There will be a Memorial Service in her honor at a date yet to be determined. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes Corunna Chapel Corunna, Michigan.
