JoAnn May age 73 of St. Louis, MI, passed away Friday, June 2, 2017 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca, MI at 1:00 P.M.  on Tuesday, June  6,  2017 with Pastor Richard Jolliff officiating. Burial will take place at Ithaca Cemetery, Ithaca, MI. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 5, 2017 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. and Tuesday, June 6, 2017  from 11 a.m. until the time of service.

JoAnn was born in Harlan, KY on July 29, 1943, the daughter of John Curry and Grace (Huff) Curry.  JoAnn married Fredrick May on April 18, 1964 in Ithaca.  Fred passed away on October 15, 1997 and resided most of her life in Ithaca.

She is survived by her 3 sons; Edward May and Tina Llamas Garcia of St. Louis, MI, Thomas and Amanda May of Ithaca, MI, David and Claudia May of St. Louis, MI; grandchildren; Alexandria May of Ithaca, MI, Brianna May of St. Louis, MI; siblings; James and Sheila Curry of Kentucky, Barb Smith of Kentucky, Louise Whitman of Kentucky, David and Connie Curry of Kentucky, Wanda Valdez of Kentucky, Bill  and Ona Curry of Kentucky, Glenn and Vickie Curry of Kentucky.  JoAnn was preceded in death by her parents, husband, siblings; Burt Allen Curry, Florance Baird, Johnny Smith, and Ronnie Whitman.
