John Biddinger

    John Biddinger, age 83, of Ithaca, MI, passed away Wednesday, June 7, 2023, at Maple View Assisted Living, Ithaca, MI.

     Cremation will take place and a private family service will be held at a later date.

   John was born in Ithaca, Michigan on August 8, 1939, the son of David S. and Bernice (Parker) Biddinger. He graduated from Ithaca Schools. John married Sharon Pauline Aldrich on September 6, 1958 at Breckenridge United Methodist Church in Breckenridge, MI.  They were blessed with sixty-four years of marriage; prior to her passing on April 21, 2023.

    John was a lifelong farmer in Gratiot County. He enjoyed fishing trips to Canada, old tractors and antiques. Most of all he loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. John proudly served his country in the United States Army.

   He is survived by his children: Beth and Bob Weickel, David and Gina Biddinger, Kris Stambersky, and Dan and Bea Biddinger, seven grandchildren: Danielle (Charles) Simmons, Cody (Kristyn) Rhynard, John P. Biddinger, Jessica Biddinger, Ashten Stambersky, Amanda (Conner) Denney, and Jonathan (Jordan) Biddinger; four great-grandchildren: Lennon, Sloane, Payton, and Carson; and a great-grandson on the way.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Sharon, parents-in-law Richard George and Mina Marie (Brennan) Aldrich, his sister Evelyn, and twin sister Joann.
