John Jacob Delcamp age 87 of Owosso, Michigan died February 25, 2008 at Memorial Healthcare.

Funeral Services will be held at Owosso Church of Christ Owosso, MI on Wednesday, February 27, 2008 at 1:00 PM. Pastor Tim Reed and Mr. Jim Lockwood will officiate with burial at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Owosso, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 26, 2008, from 2 to 8 p.m. with the family present 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.

John was born in Wynn, Michigan on March 24, 1920 the son of William Fred and Beulah Wilmina ( Disbrow ) Delcamp. He resided most of his life in Owosso and attended Owosso schools. John married Princess "Pat" Pattengill on September 13, 1945 in Owosso, Michigan. John started his career with Auto Lite, then Globe Union and then Johnson Controls retiring in 1980, after 31 years of service. He enjoyed working on cars and fixing everything: "Jack of all trades." John also enjoyed playing softball in Owosso. John was a member of Owosso Church of Christ. He was also a member of the Owosso VFW Post #9455 and Owosso Moose Lodge. John served his country in the US Army during WWII as a Radio Operator in France & during the Battle of the Bulge.

He is survived by his wife Princess "Pat" Delcamp of Owosso, MI, children Jay & Theresa Delcamp of Grand Blanc, MI, Diann & Tom Foerch of Oklahoma, Troy Douglas Delcamp & Vicki Huska of Owosso, MI, grandchildren; J. Tyler & Lisonn Delcamp, Tiffany & Jerry Snyder, Erik Foerch, Troy Delcamp, Jr., 4 great granchildren Jerry Jr & Alex Snyder, Addalynn & Dominic Delcamp, sister Alice Lewis of Owosso, MI, and several nieces & nephews. He is predeceased by his parents W. Fred Delcamp & Beulah Willmina Delcamp Crane, 3 brothers and 2 sisters.

Memorials may be made to Owosso Church of Christ. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso, MI.
