A true family man, John treasured being with his family. He was a 60-year member of the Knights of Columbus, and a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. He also enjoyed square dancing and golfing. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes memorials be made to the Gratiot County Commission on Aging.
