John Carlton Reavis, 73, of St. Louis, MI, passed away after a 6 year battle with Alzheimer’s Monday, June 8, 2020, at Medilodge of Mt. Pleasant, MI.
Cremation has taken place and burial will be held at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Breckenridge, MI at a later date.
John was born in Nashville, TN on January 13, 1947, the son of Keith Webster and Dorothy Dean (Loser) Reavis. He graduated from Alma High School with the class of 1965. John proudly served his country in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. On October 14, 1977, John married Sharon Kay Zelinski at the First Presbyterian Church, Alma, MI. They enjoyed traveling and camping together.
John was a car guy and in his younger years he enjoyed drag racing. He owned and operated Ithaca Automotive and later was a manager at NAPA Auto Parts in Grand Rapids.
John is survived by his wife Sharon of St. Louis, son Keith Michael (Nicole) Reavis of Hudsonville, granddaughter Madelyn Jo, and grandson Kolton Michael. John was preceded in death by his parents, and infant granddaughter Brooklyn Rae Reavis.
