John Shattuck

John Felix Shattuck, age 40, of St. Louis, MI, formerly of Ionia, MI died Thursday, September 1st, 2011 at his residence.

A Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis Chapel St. Louis, MI on Saturday, September 10th at 1:00 P.M. Family will receive friends beginning at 11:00 a.m. prior to the memorial service.

John was born in Ionia, Michigan on November 23, 1970, the son of Francis L. and Julia E. (Pugsley) Shattuck. He liked to hunt, fish, off-roading and was an avid NASCAR fan.

He is survived by his mother Julia and Jim Palmer of Riverdale, MI; stepbrother Joe Palmer of Lake Odessa, MI; stepsister Missy and Shane St. John of California; 4 Aunts, Linda Benson of St. Louis, MI; Dana and Joe Wireman Hernandez of Orleans, MI; Susan Martin of Ionia, MI; Sharon Moore of Ionia, MI; 4 uncles, William Pugsley of St. Louis, MI; Larry Shattuck of Ionia, MI;
Robert and Joy Shattuck of Lowell, MI; Art Misner of Morley, MI; nieces Alexis, Danika, Nichole and Brittany, nephews, Brandon, Brian and James, numerous cousins and a large adopted family.

He was predeceased by his father, grandparents, Robert and Ellen Shattuck and Dale and Norma Pugsley, aunt Georgia Misner, uncles John Shattuck and Leonard Benson.
