John Tribfelner

John Leslie Tribfelner, age 44, of Perrinton, MI, passed away Saturday, February 20, 2021.

Visitation will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes – Houghton Chapel, Ovid, MI on Sunday, February 28, 2021 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service.  Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 2:00 P.M at the funeral home.  Burial will take place at Middlebury Township Cemetery, Ovid, MI.

John was born in Carson City, MI on May 8, 1976, the son of John Paul and Shirley Marie (Macklin) Tribfelner. He graduated from Ovid Elsie High School with the class of 1995.  On December 2, 1995 he married Heidi Quinn.

John joined the United States Coast Guard right after graduating high school, retiring after 22 years of service. He completed tours in Wisconsin, Alaska, Kentucky, and Northern Michigan. John loved spending time with family, traveling, and going on as many adventures as he could.

He is survived by his wife Heidi Tribfelner, daughter Alexis Tribfelner, brother Matt Tribfelner, sister Tammy Cromwell, father John Tribfelner, and mother Shirley Tribfelner.
