Jon Gilbert Pullen

     Jon Gilbert Pullen, age 81, of Laingsburg, MI, passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023, at Durand Senior Care & Rehab Center, Durand, MI.

     Funeral Services will be held at Immanuel Baptist Church, 2680 East M-21, Corunna, MI 48817, at 1:00 P.M. on Monday, November 13, 2023 with Pastor Jason Georges and Pastor Douglas Levesque officiating. Visitation will be held on Monday at the church from 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service. Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. at Riverside Cemetery, Elsie, MI.

  Jon was born in Flint, Michigan on September 17, 1942, the son of Albert George and Margaret Eveline (Stanlake) Pullen. He graduated  from Mt. Morris High School with the class of 1960. He married Nancy Simmons on August 20, 1966 at the Marion Springs Lutheran Church.  

     Jon retired from General Motors after 33 years of service. He enjoyed woodworking, computer games and reading theological books. He proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard. He was a church member for over 50 years and a member of Immanuel Baptist for over 20 years where he served as a deacon.  

   He is survived by his wife Nancy Pullen of Laingsburg, children:  David and Amy Pullen of Owosso, Wendy Pullen of Laingsburg, Sarah Pullen of Laingsburg, Nathan and Kristen Pullen of Parkesburg, PA; a granddaughter on the way and sister Connie Titus of Arizona.  He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Michelle Renae Pullen and his brother Jerry Jay Pullen.
