Joseph Martin Ladiski, age 61, of Elsie, MI passed away Tuesday, September 22, 2015 at Sparrow Clinton Hospital, St. Johns, Michigan after a short battle with cancer.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie, MI on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Scott Seelhoff and Pastor Eric Stanton officiating. Burial will take place at Fairfield Township Cemetery, Fairfield Township, MI. Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 6-8 P.M. and on Friday, September 25, 2015 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 P.M. Friday evening.
Joseph was born in St. Johns, Michigan on March 19, 1954, the son of Frank Stephen and Jennie Marie (Horak) Ladiski. On March 28, 1998 he married Darla Seelhoff in Carland, Michigan. Joe was a Tool & Dye Maker. He worked for Woodard's in Owosso since 2007 and he worked for AO Smith before that for 28 years. He enjoyed watching and spotting deer and his family was very special to him. Joe resided most of his life in the Elsie area, and he was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church Ovid, Michigan.
He is survived by his wife Darla Ladiski, 2 daughters; Amber Ladiski, and Autumn and Beau Schneider, son Adam and Stephanie Nethaway, 6 grandchildren; Megan, Emily, Micah, Katelyn, Evan and Nicholas, brothers; Robert Ladiski, Edward Ladiski, and Frank and Connie Ladiski, sister Joanne and Krystyn Gromek, many nieces and nephews, life long friend Gary Easlick, and many friends at Woodard's Manufacturing. He was predeceased by his parents, parents in law, 1 brother, 1 sister, and 2 sisters in law.
