Joseph Micallef

Joseph Richard Micallef, age 86, of Alma, MI, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019, at Rosewood Adult Foster Care, Ithaca.

Cremation has taken place and there will be no services.

Joseph was born in Detroit, Michigan on September 16, 1932, the son of Richard and Pauline (Chantar) Micallef. Joe attended school in the Detroit area.

Joe worked for Ford Motor Company, Wixom Plant - for 35 years and retired in 1992. Joe enjoyed classic cars, going on walks and spending time with his family. He was an avid Detroit sports fan, especially the Tigers. Joe was a giving man and donated too many charities. He proudly served his country in the United States Army.

He is survived by his brother Frank Micallef of Alma, MI; and many nieces and nephews: Charles Micallef, Anthony (Jessica) Micallef, Janine Micallef, Denyse Micallef, Pam (Mark) Roberts, Paula (Bryan) Gold, John Micallef, Amanda Micallef, Elaina (Heath) Barton, and James Micallef. He is also survived by many great nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers: Charlie, John, and Henry.
