Joseph E. Simpson age 77 of Mason, Michigan died Thursday, March 13, 2008 at Sparrow Health Systems, Lansing, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Monday, March 17, 2008 at 1:00 PM. Pastor Amy Thompson will officiate with burial at Ford Cemetery Gratiot County, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 17, 2008, from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m.

Joseph was born on June 9, 1930 the son of Ward and Phoebe Simpson. He resided most of his life in. Joseph retired from Texas Instruments of Houston, Texas. He served in the US Army in Korea during the Korean War.

He is survived by 3 sons; Patrick Simpson of Tennessee, Ward E & Cheryl Simpson of Wheeler, Paul P. & Roberta Simpson of Ionia, 13 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren. He is predeceased by his parents.

Memorials may be made to a charity of donor's choice. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso, MI.
