Joseph Walter

Joseph S. Walter, age 50, of Flint, MI formerly of Elsie, died Tuesday, August 9, 2011 at his home.

A Memorial Service will be held at Duplain Church of Christ St. Johns, MI on Friday, August 19, 2011 at 1:00 P.M., Mr. Chuck Emmert will officiate. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery Elsie, Michigan.

Joseph was born in Joliet, Illinois on September 12, 1960, the son of Daniel W. and Lola M. (Bellah) Walter. He attended Ovid - Elsie High School and joined the US Army. He had worked for F. C. Mason Co. in St. Johns, and he owned and operated his own Karaoke Business. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church Flint, Michigan.

He is survived by his mother, Lola Walter of Elsie, MI, 3 brothers; James Walter of Owosso, MI, Daniel and Penny Walter of Ashley, MI, Shane and Amy Bearden of Owosso, MI, many nieces & nephews, and his best friend and caregiver, Richard McClellan of Flint, Michigan. He was predeceased by his father, Daniel W. Walter, and his grandparents.
