Josephine was born in Owosso, Michigan on November 30, 1921, the daughter Nichalas Klaas and Gladys Olive (Snyder) Boerman. She married Clarence Clapp, Jr. He passed away June 30, 1983. she was a homemaker.
She is survived by 3 daughters Kathleen Karren Holczman of Owosso, Michigan, Nancy Jo Waits of Owosso, Michigan, Peggy Marie and Michael Van Ells of St. Johns, Michigan. She was predecesed by her husband, sons-in-law, Stanley Sigmund Holczman and Lawrence E. Waits, brother John Nicholas Boerman.
