Joyce Dyer

Joyce T. Dyer, age 93, died March 1, 2010. Born in Alma, Michigan on March 30, 1916, she was the daughter of Floyd and Dora (Townsend) Robbennolt. Joyce married George Dyer on April 16, 1955 and he preceded her in death March 3, 1959. She was a retired Administrative Analyst from the State of Michigan Dept. of Social Services retiring in 1979.

She is survived by her step-children, Norman (Patricia) Dyer of Lake Orion, Bonnie (Robert) Featherstone of Minnesota, Susan (Ralph) Swan of Lansing, and Kathleen Dyer of California, many grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and one sister, Lurah Pasionek of Saginaw. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Jeunita Hoff and Elaine Duchi and step daughter, Jill Greene.

Funeral Services will be 10:00 a.m, Thursday, March 4, 2010 at the Osgood Funeral Home, St. Johns with Rev. Matt Olson officiating. Burial will take place at a later date. The family will receive friends 4-8 p.m., Wednesday, at the funeral home.
