Judith Murgittroyd

Judith Kay "Judy" Murgittroyd age 73, of Wheeler, MI, passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at her home.

At her request, no services will be held.

Judy was born in Lafayette Township, MI on July 8, 1944 the daughter of James Obe and Ethel G. (Sweet) Murgittroyd.  Judy was a 1962 graduate of Ithaca High School.  She resided most of her life in Wheeler.

Judy was a jack of all trades; she was a secretary in California, went to modeling school locally, could fix her own car, tended bar at her brother Gene's bar, and could do a little bit of everything else she put her mind to.  Judy loved all animals and cared for many animals over the years.  In her later years a lot of her time was spent watching the News Channels keeping up on politics.  Judy was known for her large gardens and she enjoyed country music.  She will also be remembered as always speaking her mind.

Judy is survived by her son James and Debbie Andrew of Ithaca, MI; sister Janet Murgittroyd of Alma, MI; brother James Murgittroyd Jr. of Wheeler, MI, sister in law Doris Murgittroyd; and many nieces and nephews.  Judy was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers: Jack and Gene and sister Joyce.
