Judy Lee

After a short battle with cancer, Judy Lee went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 18, 2016 at Memorial Healthcare, Owosso, MI.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Duplain Church of Christ, St. Johns, MI on Monday, November 21, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. with Mr. Chuck Emmert officiating. Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 20, 2016 from 4:00-9:00 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie, MI.

Judy was born in Owosso, Michigan on September 25, 1948, the daughter of Joseph J. and Helen (Konecny) Fabus. She graduated from Elsie High School with the class of 1966. Judy married James Lee who she lovingly referred to as "My James" on May 6, 2013.

Judy was a blessing to those who knew her and had a passion for serving her God, family, and friends. She was always there with a delicious pastry, cinnamon rolls, pie or sending a card to cheer your day. Judy could always be counted on for a shoulder to lean on or a word of encouragement. She is loved and will be deeply missed by many. She was a member of Duplain Church of Christ, St. Johns, MI.

She is survived by her dear hubby James Lee, daughter Laurie (Harden) VanBeelen, special son Matt VanBeelen, grandchildren; Evan VanBeelen (Fiance Lauren Kelley), Parker VanBeelen, daughters; Jamie and Scott Gordon, Shannon and Tony Carovillano, Brooke and Shawn Hobson, special adopted daughter Regina, grandchildren; Alec, Josh, Kate, Syd, Maggie, Finn, mother Helen Fabus, sisters; Diane and Chuck Bukovick, Joan and Alan Adair, and brother Dan and Darla Fabus. Judy is also survived many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Joseph J. Fabus, sister Julia Fabus, brother Joseph Fabus, Jr. and her dog "Sam Sam."
