Judy Saylor

Judy Roseltha Saylor, age 64, of Bannister, went to be with her Lord on Friday, November 20th, 2009 at Sparrow Health Systems, Lansing, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Church of the Living Word in Ovid, MI on Tuesday, November 24th at 11:00 A.M. , Pastor Kirk Brookins will officiate. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery Elsie, MI.

Visitation will be held on Sunday 6-8 p.m.. and on Monday, November 23, 2009 2-8 with family 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.. at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie Chapel.

Judy was born in Riverdale, Michigan on July 12, 1945, the daughter Maynard and Mable (Schiffler) Lambert., She graduated from Fulton High School, Middleton Michigan. On February 28, 1965 she married Richard Carl Saylor Sr. in Ithaca, Michigan. She had resided most of her life in Bannister, Michigan.

She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking & baking and especially her grandchildren. She also enjoyed reading her bible and playing cards, and board games with her family. Judy was a member of Church of the Living Word in Ovid, Michigan.

Survivors included her husband Richard Saylor Sr. of Bannister, MI; 4 daughters Elizabeth Cummings of Freeland, MI. Lynette and Bill Schmidt of Bannister, MI. Leandra and Todd Fox of Ovid, MI. Lynna and Tim Nierescher of Bannister, MI;
3 sons, Richard and Loretta Saylor Jr. of St. Johns, MI. Kevin and Julie Saylor of Bannister, MI. David Saylor of Freeland, MI; 18 grandchildren & 5 great grandchildren, daughter in law Julie Saylor of Midland, MI. 5 sisters and 2 brothers.

She was predecesed by her parents, daughter & son in law Lisa Ann & Garret Hayes and grandson Garret John Hayes, 1 son Jonathan Saylor, 4 brothers.
