Judy Skorna

Judy M. Skorna, 59, passed away on December 8, 2010. She was born Janaury 24, 1951 in St. Louis, Michigan, the daughter of Cecil and Clara (Colbry-Gallihugh) Jones. Judy previously worked as a caregiver for the elderly in adult foster care homes.

She is survived by one daughter, Patricia (Lynn) England of Iowa, two sons, Christopher Skorna of Ft. Hood, Texas and Michael Skorna of St. Johns, five grandchildren, Jessica Hutchins, Kami and Heather Pohl, Faith & Mia Skorna and her mother, Clara Gallihugh of St. Johns. Judy also has two sisters, Joyce Doty & Linda (Robert) Pettigrew, both of St. Johns, her brother, Mack Jones of California and uncle, Joseph Colbry of Lansing, and the father of her children, Joseph Skorna of Owosso. She was preceded in death by her father, Cecil Jones, infant brother, Mack Leon Jones and brothers, Ronald Jones and Robert Jones.

Funeral Services will be 11 am Saturday, December 11, 2010 at the Osgood Funeral Home, 104 E. Cass St. St. Johns, MI and burial at Union Home Cemetery, with Rev. Phil Beavers officiating. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude Research Hospital.
