     Judy Ann Slocum, age 79, of Fowler, MI, passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at her home. 

      A cremation has taken place and a Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Judy and Michael at a later date.

      Judy was born in Lansing, Michigan on February 26, 1944, the daughter of Leon and Barbara Jean (Hinkle) Millard.  On March 26, 1988, Judy married Michael Edward Slocum in Lansing, MI. They were blessed with thirty-five years of marriage, prior to his passing on September 1, 2023. 

      Judy dearly loved her family and lived for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a collector of dolls and angels. She was a pet lover and anything related to Michigan State University football. Judy lived in the house she and Michael built 30 years ago. She prized her yellow VW Bug that Michael bought for her.

      She is survived by her daughter Tracy Redoutey; three step-children: Michael D. (Vickie) Slocum, Lois E. Swinson, and Rosemary M. (Robert) McKary; four grandsons: Brook (Ashley) Jamieson, Matthew (Heather) Jamieson, Adam Jamieson, and Justin (Chelsea) Redoutey; eleven additional grandchildren and twenty-five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Michael Slocum, grandson John Joseph Miller, and her brother Terry (Kay) Millard.
