June Riggs

June Dawn Riggs, age 77, of Alma, Michigan died Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at her home.

A Celebration of Life will be held at St. Louis VFW Post on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 1:00 P.M.

June was born in Wheeler, Michigan on June 1, 1935, the daughter of Arthur and Winifred (Burton) Andrew. She graduated from Ithaca High School. June was a registered nurse, working for Wilcox Nursing Home, and doing in home care. She enjoyed playing shuffle board, euchre and dancing. June resided most of her life in the Ithaca and Belding areas, and was a member of the Elks Lodge, Moose Lodge and St. Louis VFW.

She is survived by 1 daughter Cheryl and Jim Findley of Ithaca, MI, 3 sons; Charles Webber of Alma, MI, Brian and Debbie Webber of Carson City, MI, Matthew and Amy Webber of Iowa, 6 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter, 1 brother Donald and Trudy Andrew, and special friend Peggy Cutchall. She was predeceased by her parents, husband, son William, 2 sisters; Arlene, and Beatrice, and 3 brothers; Arthur Jr. Thomas, and William.
