Kathleen Marie Deming

     Kathleen Marie Deming, age 57, of Brant, MI, passed away Saturday, January 29, 2022, at MyMichigan Medical Center, Alma, MI.

     Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie, MI, on Saturday, February 5, 2022, at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Mona Kindel officiating.  Burial will follow at Brant Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. on Friday, February 4, 2022, at the funeral home.

     Kathleen was born in Saginaw, Michigan on December 14, 1964, the daughter of Michael and Fern (Wilson) Deming.  She graduated from Merrill High School with the class of 1988.  Kathy devoted her life to taking care of others and always put the needs of others before her own. She was the best mom and an even better grandma.

     Kathy is survived by 2 daughters: Amanda Deming of Brant, MI and Alicia (Zach) Hall of Owosso, MI; and 2 grandchildren: Landen and Lacey Hall.  She is also survived by 6 siblings: Dan Deming, Larry Deming, Jean Dysinger, Judy Davis, Victoria Deming and Becky Brown; brother-in-law John Wadsworth and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers: Mike Jr., Chuck, Tim and Doug Deming; and one sister Mary DeSander.
