Kathryn Marie (Wolfe) Morris

     Kathryn Marie Morris, age 79, of Ashley, MI, passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023, at Ashley Care Center.

     A Graveside Service will be held at Collier Cemetery, Ashley, Michigan at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, with Pastor David Kimball officiating.

     Kathryn was born in Owosso, Michigan on March 31, 1944, the daughter of Reno Carl and Faith Eugene (Moore) Wolfe.  She was a graduate of Ashley High School.  Kathryn married Marshall Morris on August 24, 1963, in Ashley, Michigan.

     She was a supportive wife and followed her husband to different posts around the state.  Marshall promised to always bring her back home to Ashley and in 1988, they moved back.

     Kathryn and her two girls opened up her floral shop in 1996, The Lattice Company.  You could find her every day with the coffee pot on and a deck of cards ready. She taught her girls and her grandchildren to enjoy the little things in life; walking the beach looking for washed up glass or picking up rocks from different states to take home for the garden. Her faith was very important to her and sharing the Lord with others. 

     She is survived by her husband Marshall Morris; daughter Marcella and Darryl Thompson; daughter Angela and James Thompson; grandchildren:  Chrissa, Austin, Samantha and Josiah, Christian, William, Caitlin, and Jacklynn; her brother Carl and Marilyn Wolfe; brother-in-law William Kellogg.  Kathryn was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Shirley Kellogg.
