Kathryn Salters

Kathryn Elizabeth Salters, age 90, of Lansing, MI passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014 at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns, MI on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. Burial will take place at South Bingham Township Cemetery in St. Johns, MI. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 30, 2014 from 4-7 P.M. at the funeral home.

Kathryn was born in St. Johns, Michigan on November 24, 1923, the daughter of Carlton and Augusta (Kohagen) Miller. She married Donald Lee Salters on August 15, 1942. He preceded her in death on January 6, 2014. Kathryn was born and raised in St. Johns. She was an avid crafter and loved sewing. She loved spending time with her grandchildren, and adored her special friend Muffin.

Kathryn is survived by her son Daniel and Brenda Salters formerly of Lansing, MI, daughter Susan McIntyre of Lansing, MI, son David and Kriss Salters of Gregory, MI, daughter Debra and Jeff Lecato of Lansing, MI, 6 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and brother Richard and Marilyn Miller of St. Johns, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Donald, sister Maxine Galvach, and son in law Richard McIntyre.
