Keith Lytle

Keith Duane Lytle, 74, of Alma, MI, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2020, at Mid-Michigan Medical Center - Midland.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Ithaca, MI, on Friday, February 14, 2020 at 1:00 P.M., with Pastor Dave Perry officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 A.M. until the time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date in Oak Grove Cemetery, St. Louis, MI.

Keith was born in Breckenridge, MI on March 13, 1945, the son of Warren W. and C. Marie (Schaub) Lytle. He graduated from Ithaca High School with the class of 1964. He was a jack-of-all-trades: working for Oldsmobile, Farmers' Gas and Oil in Ithaca, Hubbard Trenching, and Allied Concrete, Midland.

Keith loved stock car racing, NASCAR, and was a diehard Earnhart fan. He loved to spend time with his dogs: Thump, Molly and Mimi. He enjoyed wood working and fishing. If you ever met Keith, you would know he loved to talk and talk and talk.

Keith is survived by his significant other Elizabeth Brewer, 4 children: Bryan (Wioletta) Lytle of Nashville, TN; Chris Dingman of Ithaca; Pam (Alan) Schafer of Ithaca; and Becky (Richard) Nieman of Dublin, VA; 8 grandchildren: Elizabeth Lytle, Christian Lytle, Jamie (Zach) Maxwell, Kelli (Jake) Sigafoose, Jason Thompson, Katrina Thompson, Erik (Melissa) Schafer, and Jared Nieman; 3 great grandchildren: Kelsie, Kolton, and Margaret. He is also survived by sister Carol (Russell) Hoard, brother Nyle Lytle, and several nieces and nephews.  Keith was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Susan Lytle.
