Keith VanCore

Keith VanCore, age 78, of Mountain Home, Arkansas formerly of Lansing, Michigan passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015 at Hospice House of the Ozarks, Mountain Home, AR.

A visitation will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes 2057 N. Lansing Street, St. Johns, MI on Thursday November 12, 2015 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. Private Family Services will be held with burial at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Lansing, MI.

Keith was born in Lansing, MI on November 24, 1936 and was a 1954 graduate of J.W. Sexton High School in Lansing. Keith retired from the City of East Lansing's Public Services Department. He had a love of classic cars, was an avid collector and enjoyed bringing them back to their former glory.

Keith is survived by his children; Steven VanCore of Lansing, MI, Mark and Maria VanCore of Lansing, MI, Jon and Angela VanCore of Ovid, MI, Jill VanCore of Lansing, MI and Pamela VanCore of Ithaca, MI, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, his sister Lynne and Doug Nelson of South Carolina also a nephew. He was preceded in death by a son David and his companion Shirley McKenna.
