Kenneth L. Fountain age 73 of Corunna, Michigan died Thursday, November 1, 2007 at Memorial Healthcare Center, Owosso, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel Corunna, MI on Monday, November 5, 2007 at 11:00 AM. Rev Daniel Bowman will officiate. Visitation will be held on Monday, November 5, 2007 from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services at 11:00 A.M.

Kenneth was born in Mecosta County, Michigan on August 10, 1934 the son of Lee and Lucille ( Johnston ) Fountain. He resided most of his life in the Corunna area and graduated from Remus High School with the class of 1952. Kenneth married Geneva Bowman in Angola, Indiana on March 12, 1998. He worked at the Secretary of States office in Owosso, as the Branch manager and retired in 1988. Ken enjoyed bowling, hunting, trout fishing and going to Las Vegas, and spending time with his grandkids. He enjoyed working as the under sheriff of Mescosta County form 1960 to 1966.

He is survived by his wife Geneva Fountain of Rogers City, Michigan, daughter Terri & Jim Sproul of Lansing, Michigan, son Brian & Terri Fountain of Morley, 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 2 step-sons; Daniel Bowman of Rogers City, Michigan, William Bowman of Johanneburg, Michigan, several nieces & nephews, and special friends. He is predeceased by his parents, former wife Beverly, and 2 sisters; Donna & Jeannine.

Memorials may be made to Shiawassee County Medical Care Facility, Corunna, Michigan. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
