Kenneth Hill

Kenneth Robert Hill age 87, of St. Louis, MI, passed away Tuesday, November 22, 2016, at Mid Michigan Medical Center-Midland, MI.

Private Family Services will be held.

Kenneth was born in Dearborn, Michigan on June 13, 1929, the son of Frank and Ruth (Bryans) Hill.  Ken married Reenee Gallagher on February 17, 1951 in Dearborn, MI. He resided most of his life in Dearborn Heights, MI.

Ken was talented in woodcarving and some of his carvings are on display at the Fr. Solanus Guild.  He studied the canonization process for Fr. Solanus Casey and his relationship to the Hill Family.  Ken was an avid original 6 NHL Hockey fan of Gordie Howe of the Detroit Red Wings.  He loved doing research on his computer and embraced learning new things.  Ken served his country honorably in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife Reenee Hill of St. Louis, MI; son Thomas and Susan Hill of Portage, MI; son Brian and Karen Hill of Pickney, MI; daughter Katherine and Harold Cain of Mayville, MI; 5 grandchildren Lindsay and Mike Radtke, Lauren Hill, Logan Hill, Shannon Hill and McKinley Cain; 2 great-grandchildren Layla Radtke and Landon Radtke.  Also his four legged furry friend Sammi Jo.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents and his half brother Timothy Hill.
