Kenneth O. Lamrouex, age 80, of Corunna, MI passed away Wednesday, August 25, 2010 at Memorial Healthcare, Owosso, MI.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Corunna Chapel Corunna, MI on Sunday, August 29, 2010 at 2:00 P.M. Pastor John Walworth will officiate. Visitation will be held on Saturday, August 28, 2010 from 1-6 PM at the Funeral Home.
Kenneth was born in Oakley, Michigan on March 18, 1930, the son of Edward and Mary Lamrouex. Kenneth married Frieda Caverson on July 30, 1950 in Owosso, MI. He resided most of his life in Corunna and served in the U.S. Army.
Kenneth retired from Central Transport of Flint. He enjoyed doing puzzles, visiting the casino, and watching western movies. Kenneth loved vacationing at Willow Lawn Resort in Northern Michigan and being on his pontoon. His cats Molly, Callie and Sugar were very important to him. Kenneth even enjoyed playing his Playstation.
He is survived by his wife Frieda Lamrouex of Corunna, MI, daughter Elizabeth and Dave Winegardner of Flint, MI, son Jody and Angie Lamrouex of Owosso, MI, daughter Lori Lamrouex and Gary Bobier II of Owosso, MI, grandchildren; Jody and Stacy Lamrouex Jr., Cory and Heidi Lamrouex, Adam and Kate Lamrouex, Tory Lamrouex and Mike Hilgendorf, Russ Berry Jr., James Berry, Ashley, Ryan and Michael Anders, Ashley and Jason Bobier great-grandchildren; Hank Sizemore, Taylor Lamrouex, Bailey Lamrouex, Levi Lamrouex, and friend Janet Berthume. Kenneth was preceded in death by his parents, his nine siblings and friend Loren Berthume.
