Kenneth Wilson “Ken” Riley Sr., age 78, of Eureka, MI, passed away Wednesday, October 17, 2018, at Sparrow Hospital, Lansing, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Osgood Chapel, St. Johns, MI, on Monday, October 22, 2018, at 1:00 P.M., with Pastor Doug Jones officiating.  Burial will take place at Eureka Cemetery Eureka, MI.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 21, 2018 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Ken was born in Lansing, MI on January 21, 1940, the son of William and Minnie (Haines) Riley.  Ken proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  On August 13, 1966, Ken married Linda Linley in Missouri.  They celebrated 52 years of marriage this year.  Ken worked for Motor Wheel for 27 years before they closed.

Ken was an avid hunter and fisherman.  He loved his family and had a special love for his daughter Anita.  Ken liked his squirrel dogs and teaching them tricks.  He enjoyed gardening with straight rows and the fresh vegetables that he produced.  Ken always enjoyed a good laugh or a one-liner.  He was a humble man who was loved by all who knew him.

Ken is survived by his wife Linda of Eureka; children: Tammy Sims of Stanton; Kenneth "Jr." (Scott) Riley-Biggs of Stanton; Kelli Simmon of Crystal; Christopher (Chastity) Riley of La Center, KY; Anita Jean Riley of Eureka; and Rich Linley of St. Johns; 11 grandchildren: Brock Sims, Courtney Sims, Cheryl VanAmburg, Kaleb Riley, Britney Riley, Hunter Simmon, Cody Simmon, Jordan Riley, McKaylee Allen, Shyanne Riley, and Christopher Riley; 3 great grandchildren: Savannah Sims, Ava Mendiola, and Ariana Mendiola.  He is also survived by his sister Glenda Sue (Lloyd "Hop") Jackson and brother Michael and (Kris Mikulka) Riley.  Ken was preceded in death by his parents, grandchildren: Hannah Sims, Angel Riley, Ember Riley, Emily Riley, and Andrew Riley; sister Maxine Fausett; and brothers: William Riley, and Charles Riley.
