Kenneth Routheaux

Kenneth "Kenny" O. Routheaux age 75 of St. Louis, Michigan died Friday, March 30, 2007 at Pine River Healthcare Center in St. Louis, Michigan. Funeral services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel on Monday, April 2, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be Sunday, April 1 from 4-8 P.M. Dr. Keith Wise will officiate and burial will take place at Chapel Gardens Cemetery in Elwell, Michigan.
Kenny was born July 29, 1931 in Iron River, Michigan. He and his wife Fern were married in Farwell, Michigan on March 1, 1952. She died on October 9, 2004; he resided in St. Louis for the past 45 years.
Kenny retired from Henkle-McCoy Telephone Company after many years. He also worked as a Wal-Mart greeter for 5 years. He was a member of the St. Louis VFW Post, and the Moose Lodge #1566
Survivors include his son, Randal & Valerie Routheaux of St. Louis, Michigan, 1 daughter, Sandra Salgado of St. Louis, Michigan, 7 granddaughters, Christie, Katherine, Lorraine, Tonya, Zulima, Marissa, and Summer, 1 great granddaughter, Victoria, 3 sisters, Alice, Irene, and Marcel. He was predeceased by his parents, wife, a son Timothy, 1 brother, and 4 sisters. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donora�(TM)s choice in Kennya�(TM)s memory.
