Kenneth J. Smith age 93 of Breckenridge, Michigan died Tuesday, August 31, 2004 at Pine River Healthcare Center, St. Louis, Michigan.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2004 at 1:00 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel. Mr. Keith Wise will officiate with burial at Ridgelawn Cemetery, Breckenridge, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 1, 2004 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel.
Kenneth was born in Emerson Township, Michigan on May 22, 1911 the son of John L. & Mary Lenore ( Case ) Smith. He was a farmer and worked at Reeves Farm Tiling in Ithaca, MI. Kenneth served in the US Army during WWII. He was an avid reader, and he enjoyed the farm cats, old tractors, thrashing machines and going to auctions. He resided most of life Breckenridge, Michigan. He is survived by 2 sisters; Lenore & Halden Muscott of Breckenridge, MI, Jean Nevins of St. Louis, MI, and nieces & nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, 2 sisters, Rachel & Margaret and 1 brother Clair.
