Kevin Strieff

Kevin Jay Strieff, age 54, of Ovid, MI, passed away Saturday, December 11, 2021, at Memorial Healthcare, Owosso, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Houghton Chapel, Ovid, MI, at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 16, 2021, with Pastor Cal Emerson officiating. Burial will take place at Fairfield Township Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 15, 2021 from 4:00-9:00 P.M. at the funeral home and also again on Thursday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the funeral service. It is also requested that those in attendance please wear a mask to the funeral home.

Kevin was born in Owosso, Michigan on March 10, 1967, the son of Harold Leroy and Brenda (Green) Strieff.  He graduated from Ovid-Elsie High School with the class of 1985.  Kevin married Colleen Huyck on May 24, 2013, in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Kevin was employed as a wholesale parts manager at Young's Cadillac in Owosso. He enjoyed cooking, deer hunting, attending car shows and he played fantasy football for 24 years. Kevin liked spending time up north at Houghton Lake and annual trips to the UP.  He loved spending time with his family and his cat Phil.

He is survived by his wife Colleen Strieff of Ovid, MI; son and daughter- in-law Rich and Jayme Fast of Potterville, MI; mother Brenda Strieff of Ovid, MI; sister and brother-in-law Kristi and Bill Luckhurst of Ovid, MI; nephew and niece Christopher "Critter" and Lacey Luckhurst of Owosso, MI; and grandchildren: Luci Fast and Lew Eaton.  He was preceded in death by his father Harold, son Mikel Jay Strieff on October 26, 2021, father and mother-in-law Estella and Glenn Huyck, and brother in law Gary Huyck.
