Kim Edward Sinko, age 58, of Roscommon, Michigan died Tuesday, March 27th, 2012 at Woodland Hospice House, in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.

A Private Memorial Service will be held.

Kim was born in Alma, Michigan on January 14, 1954, the son of Edward Frank and Isabelle Marie (Reeves) Sinko. He graduated from Ithaca High School in 1972 and resided most of his life in Ithaca and Alma. Kim worked in the publishing business for several years and owned a few of his own businesses, including a restaurant in Higgins Lake, Michigan and the Unique Antiques store in St. Louis, Michigan. Kim had worked in Wisconsin at a door manufacturing company for a few years before recently moving back to Michigan.

Kim was a member of the Boy Scouts along with his father for many years and achieved Eagle Scout status. Kim was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, reading and refinishing furniture. Most of all, Kim enjoyed sharing special times with his family, especially his sons and granddaughters.

He is survived by 2 sons, Samuel Sinko of Alma, MI; Michael Andrews of Alma, MI; granddaughter's, Samantha Sinko and Julia Andrews; mother, Isabelle Sinko of Ithaca, MI; 2 sisters, Denise and Christopher Murray of Alma, MI; Sheila and Richard Droste of Ithaca, MI; 2 nephews, Ian and Seth Murray; Special Friend, Irina Verkhov. Kim was predeceased by his father, Edward.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
