Kurt Paul Moskaitis age 19 of Owosso, Michigan died Saturday, May 17, 2008 at Locke Townhip, Ingham County, MI as a result of an automobile accident.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel Owosso, MI on Friday, May 23, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Jeff Stephens will officiate with burial at Oak Hill Cemetery Owosso, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 21, 2008, from 6-8 p.m. & Thursday, May 22, 2008 from 2-8 p.m.

Kurt was born in Owosso, Michigan on March 13, 1989 the son of Bruce Floate and Penny Moskaitis. He resided most of his life in Owosso and graduated from Owosso High School with the class of 2007. Kurt worked at Nero Plastics of Owosso. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and the raft races at the Curwood Festival. Kurt was a member of the Shiawassee Gun Club.

He is survived by his mother Penny & Alan McKay of Owosso, MI, father Bruce & Lisa Float of Phoenix, AZ, brother A.J. Cantu of Owosso, MI, sister Felicia Davis of Owosso, MI, grandparents; Judy & Tom Kovarik of Owosso, MI, Linda & Gary Kadzban of Owosso, MI, Cheryln & Jim Short of Lennon, MI, William Kovarik of Swartz Creek, MI, Edward Valliere of New Britain, CT, Frances Lerette of Bath, MI, Joseph & Rose Cantu of Owosso, MI, great grandfather Charles Gall of Owosso, MI, aunts & uncles; Rob & Charay Moskaitis, Bill & Sheri Kovarik, Scott & Brandie McGregor, Bryan Floate, Eric Floate, Jessica Floate, and Tyler Kadzban,. He is predeceased by his sister, Chara Cantu, grandfather, Bruce Floate Sr., and great grandparents; Julie Gall, Phyllis Kovarik, Emma & Russ Bosseau, Vincent Moskaitis, Eleanor Louis & Fred St. John.

The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Jennings-Lyons Chapel, Owosso, MI.
