Larry Isaac Brock, age 56, of St. Louis, MI passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2009 at Gratiot Medical Center, Alma, MI.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis Chapel St. Louis, MI on Friday, September 4, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery St. Louis, MI. Visitation will be held on Thursday September 3, 2009 from 6-8 PM and Friday September 4, 2009 from 11-1 PM at the time of the service at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis Chapel St. Louis, MI.

Larry was born in Alma, Michigan on August 2, 1953, the son of Isaac and Florence (Henry) Brock. He resided most of his life in Alma. Larry married Kay Kirby on March 24, 1979 in Ithaca, MI.

He loved to spend time with family and friends watching NASCAR and drinking Old Milwaukee. Dale Earnhart, Jr. was his favorite driver. Larry enjoyed hunting, fishing and hanging out in "the garage". He also had a special buddy, his dog, Budweiser. Larry played in a band with his family for many years.

Larry is survived by his wife Kay Brock of St. Louis, MI, 2 daughters; Tammy and Jeff Sherman of Clinton Township, MI, Amber and Parthiv Patel of Bloomfield Hills, MI, 2 grandchildren; Jordan Marks, Conner Marks, and 2 brothers; Lloyd and Michelle Brock of St. Louis, MI, and Leo and Glenda Brock of Alma, MI. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters; Carolyn House and Connie Howd, brother Leon Brock and niece Carla Gustavison.
