Larry Earl Runyan age 66 of Corunna, Michigan died Thursday, October 20, 2005 at Sparrow Hospital Lansing, MI.

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2005 at 11:00 AM at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel. Rev. James Smith will officiate. Visitation will be held on Friday, October 21, 2005 from 5-8 P.M. and Saturday, October 22, 2005 from 2-8 P.M.

Larry was born in Owosso, Michigan on October 22, 1938 the son of Luther E. and Celia ( Nickels ) Runyan. He resided most of his life in Corunna, Michigan and graduated from Corunna High School with the class of 1957. Larry married Charlotte Mae Mallery on April 30, 1960 in Corunna, Michigan. He worked for General Motors V-8 Engine Plant, Flint, Michigan. He retired October 1, 1996. He was an Owosso Eagles Life Member at Shiawassee Dog & Gun Club, a member of The American Legion, Secretary of the Shiawassee Democrate Committee, Corunna City Council, Mayor ProTem, Corunna Caledonia Fire Board, served and volunteered for virtually every board and commity for the city of Corunna as well as a Hunter Saftey Instructor. He loved guns and worked part-time for A&S Shooting Supplies in Corunna.

He is survived by 2 sons; Mike & Sheri Runyan of Durand, MI, Jon & Jeri Runyan of Corunna, MI, 5 grandchildren; Sheradin Conrad, Heather Runyan, Cassie Runyan, Steven Runyan, and Jonathon Higbee, brother Gaylord & Bonnie Runyan of Bancroft, MI and sister-in-law Elaine & Leonard Klatt of Ovid, MI. He is predeceased by his parents, his wife, and granddaughter Hallie Runyan.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
