Laura "Elizabeth" Donahue age 85 of Owosso, Michigan died on Saturday, March 26, 2005 at Shiawassee County Medical Care Facility in Corunna, Michigan.
Funeral services will be on Wednesday, March30, 2005 at 11:00 A.M. at the First Congregational Church of Owosso. Pastor Paul Kuntzman will officiate and burial will take place in the Easton Cemetery, in New Haven Township, Michigan.
Visitation will be Tuesday, March 29, 2005 from 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
Elizabeth was born December 23, 1919 in Chesaning, Michigan, the daughter of William & Annabelle (DeForest) Reid. She graduated from Chesaning High School.
On April 22, 1939 she married Wellington E. Donahue in Chesaning, Michigan. She had resided most of her life in Owosso, Michigan.
She was a homemaker and a member of the First Congregational Church of Owosso; she was also a member of the church choir and the Womena�(TM)s Guild, and volunteer for the Red Cross
Survivors include her husband, Wellington E. Donahue of Owosso, Michigan, 2 daughters Opal & Gary Svarc, of Oakley, Michigan, Laura & Robert Meiers of Owosso, Michigan, 1 son John Donahue of Phoenix, Arizona,
8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, 2 children, William Edward & Jannice Marie, 2 brothers Edgar & William Reid.
Memorials may be made to the First Congregational Church of Owosso Scholarship Fund.
