Laurel Elaine Lene Schmidt age 84 of Corunna, Michigan died Thursday, March 27, 2008 at Memorial Healthcare Center, Owosso, MI.

Graveside Services will be held at Flint Memorial Park Flint, MI on Monday, March 31, 2008 at 11:00 AM. Pastor Wayne Thomas will officiate.

Laurel was born in Flint, Michigan on March 27, 1924 the daughter of Jacob Lene and Pauline E. ( Ex ) Schmidt. She resided most of her life in Flint and Houghton Lake, MI graduated from Flint Schools. Laurel experienced many different things thru her life and enjoyed traveling.

She is survived by cousin Richard & Carol Moore of Durand, MI, and also many other cousins. She is predeceased by her parents; Jacob Lene Schmidt & Pauline Ramsey and step father Glenn Ramsey.

Memorials may be made to First Durand United Methodist Church Building Fund. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Corunna Chapel.
