LaVerna Mole

LaVerna Louise Mole 95, of Lansing, MI formerly of Elsie, passed away Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at Eaton Community Palliative Care, Charlotte MI.

A Graveside Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at Riverside Cemetery, Elsie, MI with Pastor Susan Alvera officiating.

LaVerna was born in Owosso, MI on July 1, 1922 the daughter of Richard and Edith (Walter) Bond. She graduated from Elsie High School with the class of 1940.  In 1941 she married Jack Mole in Ohio; Jack died May 15, 1998.

LaVerna worked for the State of Michigan as a case worker for 15 years.  She enjoyed cooking, baking and knitting. Her children and grandchildren were very important to her and she enjoyed them all very much.

She is survived by her daughter Connie and Larry Root of Grand Ledge, MI; 2 sons: Ronald Mole of Garland, TX; Jack and April Mole of Lansing, MI; 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.  She was predeceased by her parents, husband Jack, and 3 brothers: Ralph, Earl and Kenneth.
