Lawrence Harmon Crim, age 61 of Perrinton, MI died Sunday, December 21, 2008, at Carson City Hospital.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie Chapel Elsie, MI on Wednesday, December 24, 2008 at 11:00 A.M., Mr. Thomas Bradley will officiate. Burial will take place at Ford Cemetery, Gratiot County, MI. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2008 from 4-8 p.m.

Lawrence was born in Owosso, Michigan on August 29, 1947, the son of Frank T. and Opal (Johns) Crim. He graduated from Owosso High School with the class of 1965. Lawrence married Sharon Kay (Teets) Thayer in 1996 in Ithaca, Michigan. Lawrence served his country in the US Navy. Lawrence was employed in the Maintenance Department at Carson City Hospital Carson City, Michigan. He had worked for Robbins Furniture in Owosso for 30 years until they closed. Lawrence enjoyed fishing and boating. He resided most of his life in Owosso, Michigan moving to Rainbow Lake about 13 years ago.

He is survived by his wife Sharon Thayer-Crim of Perrinton, 3 sisters; Joyce Clayton of Owosso, Nancy Zdunic of Morice, Deanna Wrathful of Atlanta, GA, 2 brothers; Fred Crim of Muskegon, & Ken Crim of Rainbow Lake, step grand babies Madison Rae Lockwood and Caden Thomas Lockwood of Portland, Michigan. He was predeceased by his parents, step daughter Traci Rae Thayer, and 1 brother, Frank Crim Jr.
