Leila Zelinski

Leila J. (Lilly) Zelinski, age 85, of Alma, MI died Sunday, November 2, 2008 at Masonic Pathways in Alma.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis Chapel St. Louis, MI on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at 11:00 AM, Mr. Keith Wise will officiate. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 4, 2008 from 4-8 PM. at Smith Family Funeral Homes. Burial will take place at Pritchard Cemetery in Elwell.

Leila was born in Boyne City, MI, on November 29, 1922 the daughter of Floyd A. and Maude May (Bladisdell) Mathers. She attended the Republic School in Alma, and resided most of her life in Alma. She was a homemaker, and in the past she enjoyed gardening, crocheting, and arts & crafts.

She is survived by 3 daughters; Joann Mayne and Jim Hollenback of St. Charles, MI, Betty and Dave Martin of Shepherd, MI, Barbara and Jason Moffett of Riverdale, MI, 5 grandchildren, 2 step grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, and a brother Jack and Betty Mathers of Dewitt, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, both of her husbands Isadore M. Lilly on Nov. 23, 1987, and Michael Zelinski, a son Eugene Lilly in 1997, and 2 grandchildren.
