Leo Elmer Decker age 68 of Ithaca, Michigan, died on Friday, June 22, 2007 at Gratiot Medical Center, Alma, Michigan.

Funeral services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel on Tuesday, June 26, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. Visitation will be Monday, June 25, 2007 from 2 a�" 8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. Ms. Cora Grace Goldman will officiate and burial will take place at North Star Cemetery, North Star, Michigan.

Leo was born at Pleasant Valley, Michigan on February 18, 1939 the son of Jesse & Gertrude (Rauschenberger) Decker and resided most of his life in Ashley and summered in St. Petersburg Florida. He married Nancy B Chapko at St. Cyrila�(TM)s Catholic Church in Bannister, Michigan on November 8, 1958. Leo was a heavy equipment operator. He enjoyed playing cards, going to his grandchildrena�(TM)s sporting events, yard sales, and going to the casino. Leo enjoyed socializing and there was never a stranger that he met, he also liked to watch the Price is Right game show.

Survivors include his wife Nancy Decker of Ithaca, Michigan, 2 daughters; Vivian & Jeffrey Ringle of Harrison, Michigan, Sue & Doug Capen of North Star, Michigan, son in law, Klaus Hermann of Pennsylvania, 8 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, 2 sisters; Delores Strpko of Big Rapids, Michigan, Geraldine Genson of Lansing, Michigan, 1 brother John Decker of Holt, Michigan, and 3 stepsisters; Nancy Faber of Ashley, Michigan, Maryann Jarrett of Traverse City, Michigan, and Bonnie Sprauge of Weidman, Michigan. He was predeceased by his parents, 1 daughter Pamla Decker Hermann in 1999, stepfather Bill Nass, 1 sister, 2 brothers & 1 step sister.

Memorials may be made to his family in his memory. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca Chapel.
