Leo Lowe

Leo Bernard “Bull” Lowe, age 70, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday November 4, 2009 after bravely fighting a devastating battle with cancer. He was born to Vernon and Irma Lowe on August 20, 1939. Leo graduated from Bath High School and was a retired sheet metal worker. He loved spending time with his family, hunting, fishing and taking care of his birds – even the turkeys.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother Don and one sister Arlene.

Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Cheryl; two daughters, Dawn (Randy), Tamra (Duane), and three sons, Ryan, Ted and David; his grandchildren, Brooke, Tristin, Hunter and Brianna. Also surviving are his two brothers, Tom and Bob and four sisters, Lucy, Therese, Florence and Bernadine.

Bull was a loving father, grandpa, brother, uncle and friend. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, November 10, 2009 at Pilgrim United Methodist Church in St. Johns, MI., with Pastor Ken Bremer officiating. Arrangements by Osgood Funeral Homes.

A special thank you to all the health care professionals who helped give Leo exceptional care throughout his battle with cancer; his home-care nurse, Doug, and all those who worked with Dr. Williams’ oncology office and Dr. Waterson’s office.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Leo’s memory to his grandchildren, c/o Cheryl Lowe. To learn more about Leo and view his Life Story film, visit his personal webpage at www.lifestorynet.com/memories/53132 , where you can share a memory or photo, and sign his memory book.
