Leona May Miller, age 70, of Ithaca, MI passed away on Sunday, June 17, 2012 at her home with her family by her side.

A Memorial Service will be held on June 21, 2012 at 7:00 P.M. at St. Louis Church of Christ, St. Louis, MI with Mr. Keith Wise officiating. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 7:00 P.M. at the church, prior to the service.

Leona was born in Alma, Michigan on May 5, 1942, the daughter of Harold C. and Kathleen (Wade) Holton. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse with Carson City Hospital, retiring after 22 years of service. Leona was a member of St. Louis Church of Christ and spent most of her summers up north with family and friends.

She is survived by her daughters; Susan Daye of Ithaca, MI, Kelly and Neil Lemstrom of Wheeler, MI, Mistie and Mike McKane of St. Johns, MI, and Robin and Rick Hanline of St. Louis, MI, 10 grandchildren, 1 great granddaughter and 3 sisters, Connie McCreery of Ithaca, MI, Beverly and Dale Sherman of Ithaca, MI and Linda Burt of St. Louis, MI. Leona is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Leona was preceded in death by her parents, son Robert Michael Miller, son-in-law David Daye, the father of her children Robert Lyle Miller, and sister Carol Ann Holton.
