Leta R. Bosom, 79, of Ovid, MI, passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016 at Ovid Healthcare Center, Ovid, Michigan.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Houghton Chapel, Ovid, MI, on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Mona Kindel officiating.  Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 4:00 P.M. to 8 PM. at the funeral home.

Leta was born in Owosso, Michigan on July 4, 1936 to Verble and Mildred (Vautherot) Hancock.  She graduated from Owosso High School with the class of 1954. She enjoyed baking, cooking and walking.

She is survived by 2 sons; Ken Bosom, of St. Johns, MI, Larry and Mary Bosom of Ovid, MI, 5 grandchildren; Jeremiah and Kolisha Bancroft, Trevor Bosom, Devon Bosom, Taylor Bosom, Andrew Bosom, and daughter in law Tammy Bosom.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 children; Kim Paynter and Lynn Bosom, 2 sisters and 2 brothers.
