Lewis J. Graham, age 93, of Ithaca, Michigan passed away on Friday, July 11, 2014 at his home.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes St. Louis, Michigan on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at 11:00 A.M., with Mr. Keith Wise officiating. Burial will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery St. Louis, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 14, 2014 from 4-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
Lewis was born in St. Louis, Michigan on August 26, 1920, the son of Clifford J. and Florence (Carmen) Graham. He graduated from St. Louis High School with the class of 1939 and resided his entire life in Ithaca and St. Louis. On May 27, 1942 Lewis married Lois Wonnacott in St. Louis, Michigan; Lois predeceased him on November 8, 2005. Lewis served his country in the US Army during WWII in the Pacific. He was a farmer and enjoyed fishing, hunting and spending time with his dog, Buddy. He was a member of Farm Bureau and the VFW.
He is survived by 2 daughters and 1 son; Virginia and Tom Strong of Ithaca, Michigan, James and Darlene Graham of Denver, Colorado, Mary Graham of Goodyear, Arizona, daughter-in-law Cheryl Graham of Ithaca, Michigan, 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 2 sisters; Velma Gotowka, and Donna Greening, and many nieces & nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, wife, and son David.
