Lewis Kramer

Lewis Anthony Kramer age 93 of St. Johns, MI, passed away Friday, May 11, 2018 peacefully at his home surrounded by family.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Johns, MI, at 12:00 P.M. on Tuesday, May 15, 2018 with Rev. Fr. Michael Williams officiating. Burial will take place at Mt. Rest Cemetery, St. Johns, MI. Visitation will be held on Monday, May 14, 2018 from 4-7 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes - Osgood Chapel. A Vigil and Rosary will be prayed at 7:00 P.M. Monday at the Funeral Home.

Lewis was born in Pewamo, MI on May 5, 1925, the son of William and Anna M. (Hanses) Kramer.  Lewis married Sally Fedewa on October 29, 1949 in Westphalia, MI. Lewis resided most of his life in St. Johns.  Family was most important to him and he was always there for his family.  Lewis was the Service Manager and Co-Owner of Egan Ford of St. Johns.  He was an avid sports fan and enjoyed golf.  Lewis served his country in the U.S. Army during WW II. Lewis was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church.

He is survived by  his wife Sally Kramer of St. Johns, MI; daughter Sandy Kramer of Holt, MI; son Ken Kramer of St. Johns, MI; son Chris and Sue Kramer of Holt, MI; daughter Karen and Kevin Clark of Gaylord, MI; son Kevin Kramer of St. Johns, MI; daughter Jeanne Kramer of East Lansing, MI; daughter Margaret Kramer of St. Johns, MI; son David and Patricia Kramer of Plymouth, MI; 7 grandchildren Angela (Jed), Michael (Erin), Rachel, Zachary, Anthony, Sophia and Matteo; 6 great-grandchildren; sister Dorothy Bivins of Wyoming, MI.  Lewis was preceded in death by his parents, brother: Tom Kramer and 2 sisters: Alice Morton and Kate Fedewa.
