Lillian J. Sabisch, age 78, of Corunna, MI passed away Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Memorial Healthcare Center, Owosso, MI.
A Graveside Service will be held at Oak Lawn Cemetery in Sault Sainte Marie on Friday, November 28, 2008 at 2:00 P.M.
Lillian was born in Flint, Michigan on April 2, 1930, the daughter of Clark Dwight and Mildred Ila (Thomas) Hitchcock. She graduated from Owosso High School with the class of 1948. Lillian married Harold Sabisch on March 28, 1953 in Owosso, Michigan. Lillian worked for GTE Telephone Company until her retirement in 1982. She enjoyed driving and traveled all over the United States in her car. She also enjoyed going to the casino. Lillian resided most of her life in the Corunna area. She was also a twenty five year cancer survivor. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church in Owosso, MI
She is survived by 2 sisters; Ethel Stone of Beaverton, MI. Lois and Arnold Black of Sault Sainte Marie, MI, 3 nieces; Karen Walker of Bancroft, MI, Joan and Roy Krupp of Bancroft, MI, Beverly and Vic Whittmere of Beaverton, MI, 2 nephews; Dwayne Forshee of Midland, MI, Keith Forshee of Oregon, and several great and great great Nieces and Nephews. She was predeceased in death by her parents, husband Harold in 1999, and one sister and brother-in-law Luella and Melvin Baumgras.
