Linda Bakos

Linda Lou Bakos age 78 of Ashley, MI, passed away Wednesday, October 5, 2016, at her home.

Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Ithaca, MI on Monday, October 10, 2016 at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Mona Dye officiating.  Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 9, 2016 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

Linda was born in Ashley, MI on September 30, 1938, the daughter of Carl and Thelma (Pifer) Nass.  Linda married Junior Bakos on June 10, 1957 in Ashley, MI; he passed away on April 23, 1997.

Linda enjoyed baking pies, gardening, canning for family, collecting cook books, quilting and mission work thru her church. Linda was an avid fisherman and loved to go camping with family.

She is survived by daughters; Lisa (Kim) Cordray of Ashley, MI Lori (Robert) Reynolds of Sumner, MI and son Carl Bakos of Ashley, MI.

Linda is also survived by 7 grandchildren; Nicole, Victoria, Hillary, Jessica, Mitchell, CJ, and Casey, 2 great grandchildren; Makayla and Nolan, sister Carol Grubaugh, and many nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother Carl Nass.
